Mirror Images

Looking back, I see the I see the things I did I feel it everywhere Understanding from a different place far away from the blood I spilled Looking down with sympathy I can’t believe it’s staring back at me With my green eyes It cannot be me. But this is now! And yeah, we must allow. All the same mis-takes-everybody-makes Allow ourselves some space to love ourselves.   Looking in the mirror, I kinda like what I see. It took awhile, but take a look at me now. It's never easy - sometimes we've gotta reflect on what we know and tear away all the lies The lies, the lies, the lies They'll eat us alive! The only thing keeping us down is ourselves.  Doubt, Disbelief and discouragement are tools of destruction.  Fear will paralyze progress.  I say believe!  Believe in yourself!  Onward and upward to greater heights!  Prove it to yourself!  Onward to victory! Looking back, I see it, and smiling I raise my hands!
