Pain.  It seems as though we’re drenched Unfairness slowly turns its awful wrench Live in the ugliness of this place. Why strive for a better human race? Because we care. The love that lives in each of us The fight, it is our choice The seed of beauty deep inside our soul! Deep blue conflict swells within The waves inside my mind Though fearsome echoes won’t relent The truth stands strong. It’s by design Crafting miracles, timeless space We dream at night in love’s embrace Countless stars, bright dots of paint Worlds in our eyes…. With all that I’ve seen How can I survive so much strife How can I ever hope for something better? Because we care.
